Will Paws in the Park be an in-person event this year ?

Yes! Paws in the Park will be back in Woodbine Park Toronto on Saturday, August 6th from 10am-4pm.

How do I donate a Paws in the Park participant?

You can support an individual, a team or contribute directly to the event by making a donation HERE.

Will donors receive a tax receipt?

Tax receipts in the name of the donor will automatically be issued via email for all online donations of $20 or more, immediately after making their contribution. If you don’t see the tax receipt in your inbox, please check your spam folder. Offline donors will receive receipts by regular mail (or email if provided), within 30 days of the funds being received. Full name, mailing address and donation amount are required to issue a receipt.

Funds collected in lump sum are not typically eligible for charitable tax receipts, without individual donor information collected. Please confirm with Toronto Humane Society before your fundraising to clarify what can be receipted. If you have any questions, please contact paws@torontohumanesociety.com

How do I collect donations?

The fastest and easiest way to collect donations is by sharing your personalized fundraising page link. Donations received on your participant page will be automatically credited toward your fundraising goal, and donors will be receipted!

How do I submit cash and cheque donations?

If you receive any cash or cheques, you can bring them to the event on Saturday, August 6th in Woodbine Park. Make sure you include the information of the participant and the donor so that the correct credit can be entered.

Cheques should be made payable to Toronto Humane Society and include the donor’s name, mailing address, and email (if they would like to receive an electronic tax receipt).
